Chris Cleaver
CEO
Chris is Chief Executive Officer of DeepForm and a Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellow. Formerly a senior researcher at the University of Cambridge, he led pioneering work on advanced manufacturing processes to improve resource efficiency and productivity. Before founding DeepForm, Chris spent four years in East Africa establishing and managing an innovative production business. He now leads DeepForm’s mission to reshape global metal manufacturing with technologies that deliver both industrial and environmental impact.
José Azevado
Head of simulations
José is Head of Simulation at DeepForm, where he leads the development of advanced modelling tools that drive high-efficiency metal forming. Previously a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, he investigated resource-efficient materials production and UK manufacturing systems. José holds a PhD from Cambridge, sponsored by Tata Steel, and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Porto. He now applies his expertise to accelerate DeepForm’s mission of delivering cleaner, more efficient manufacturing technologies.
Evros Loukaides
Head of Software
Evros is Head of Software at DeepForm and an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bath. His work spans advanced forming processes, flexible manufacturing, and smart structures. Before joining DeepForm, he held research posts at the University of Cambridge, where he also completed his PhD, following earlier degrees from Columbia University and MIT. A Chartered Engineer and CIRP Research Affiliate, Evros holds multiple industry-linked patents and has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers advancing metal-forming innovation.
Omer Music
Head of R&D
Omer is Head of Research and Development at DeepForm, leading the advancement of next-generation metal forming technologies. Formerly an academic and industry-focused consultant, he has built his career around metal forming research since his undergraduate studies. Omer brings deep technical expertise in process innovation, experimental development, and industrial collaboration, helping translate cutting-edge science into practical, scalable manufacturing solutions. He now drives DeepForm’s R&D strategy, accelerating breakthroughs that improve efficiency, performance, and sustainability across global metalworking sectors.
Gordon Campbell
CFO
Gordon is a portfolio CFO and FCA with more than 30 years’ experience scaling technology-focused SMEs. He holds an engineering degree and a postgraduate certificate in Management Studies from the University of Cambridge and qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte. His career includes two CFO roles, two public listings, three successful exits, and approximately $1bn raised across four high-growth businesses. Since 2023, he has supported companies across optical materials, sheet-metal forming, life sciences, and medical devices.
Lindsey Powers
Head of Strategy
Lindsey is Head of Strategy at DeepForm, where she leads grant programmes, strategic planning, and organisational development to support the company’s growth. Before joining DeepForm, she worked in commercial banking as a Credit Administrator, managing a team of underwriters focused on small-business lending. Lindsey holds a Master of Finance from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from the University of Central Florida. She also serves as Board President of WanderProject, a nonprofit advancing charitable impact through outdoor events.
Rish Arora
Technical Sales Lead
Rishabh is Technical Sales Leader at DeepForm, where he translates cutting-edge sheet-metal forming technology into industrial solutions. He previously worked as a specialist design engineer in Europe, and more recently completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge, focusing on process mechanics and tool design. His research has resulted in three patents and now underpins the commercial rollout of DeepForm’s technology, advancing both manufacturing performance and sustainability.
Jim Harper
Tooling Consultant
Jim Harper is a Press Tooling Engineering Consultant with over 40 years’ experience in the automotive industry, including senior roles at Jaguar Cars and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). Jim oversaw feasibility studies, die design, tool manufacturing, project management, and the introduction of new tooling for both steel and aluminium stampings. By 2025, Jim led the Supplier Tooling Team within STA, championing innovation and quality in the supply of external parts for JLR projects.
