September 2023: DeepForm is working with technical partner Whiston Industries on manufacturing its first full-size automotive toolset. Whiston are a major UK toolmaker with capacity to design, manufacture and try out large auto toolsets.
The press toolset will demonstrate a major reduction in trimming scrap for an automotive inner panel, and integrates with Whiston’s Loire 1200 Tonne try-out press. After extensive simulation development Whiston have kicked off manufacturing and this month we got sight of the patterns that will be sent to foundry for casting.
