February 2024: DeepForm is working with technical partner Whiston Industries on manufacturing its first full-size automotive toolset. Whiston are a major UK toolmaker with capacity to design, manufacture and try out large auto toolsets.
After receiving castings from the foundry, 2-D and 3-D machining of DeepForm-designed toolset is nearing completion. The tooling will be tested on Whiston’s Loire 1200 tonne try-out press; the first full-scale trials for DeepForm’s novel tool concept.
